🚀 What is TRESOR?
TRESOR is an innovative project launched by the University of Hamburg (UHH), HITeC, and Accenture. The focus is on a privacy-compliant model for collecting and storing data on mobile devices – secure and anonymous through cryptography.
With the app, you can participate in two exciting campaigns and share your anonymized mobility data. Your contribution helps us understand students’ behavior – all without compromising your privacy!

After joining the group, you can download the app.
Download the App:
Register with your UHH email address: Sign up using your @studium.uni-hamburg.de email address to ensure that only students from the University of Hamburg can participate.
Participate in the campaigns: Choose whether to participate and stop anytime you like.
Collect Data Coins: Your anonymized data will be securely stored and encrypted – your privacy is guaranteed.
📅 When does the study start?
The study begins in the first week of December 2024.

In this study, we aim to examine:
App functionality: How well does our prototype perform in real-life use?
Willingness to donate data: How willing are you to share data while preserving your privacy?
Mobility behavior: What insights can we gain from students’ movement data? Who is most active, and which buildings are frequented by different departments?
